1.2 How We Use Your Information

  • To send transactional communications — order confirmations, shipping updates, payment receipts.
  • To send marketing communications only where you have explicitly opted in (and which you may withdraw at any time).

1.3 Sharing & Disclosure

Meekoo does not sell, rent, or trade personal data to third parties. We share information only as strictly necessary:

  • Service providers — payment gateways (including Razorpay), courier and shipping partners, email service providers, and cloud hosting — all bound by confidentiality and data processing agreements.
  • Regulatory authorities — when required to comply with Indian law, court orders, or lawful regulatory enquiries.
  • Group entities — limited sharing across Meekoo Industries' subsidiaries for unified order management and customer service.

1.4 Data Retention

Personal data is retained only for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, plus any period required by Indian law (typically 8 years for transactional records under the Income Tax Act and Companies Act).

1.5 Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, update, or request deletion of your personal information under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA). To exercise these rights, contact our Grievance Officer (Section 08) with a verifiable request. We will respond within 30 days.

Children's Privacy: Meekoo does not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has shared personal information with us, please contact us immediately so we can remove it.

Terms of Use

The agreement that governs your use of meekoo.in, shop.meekoo.in, and any purchase made through them.

By accessing meekoo.in or shop.meekoo.in or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please discontinue use of these websites immediately.

2.3 Product Information & Pricing

  • Correct any errors in product information or pricing at any time, with or without notice.
  • Modify or discontinue any product without prior notice.
  • Limit purchase quantities in cases of evident reselling or unusual order behaviour.
  • Cancel orders placed at incorrectly displayed prices, with a full refund issued.

2.4 Account Responsibility

If you create an account on shop.meekoo.in, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account. Meekoo is not liable for any loss resulting from your failure to safeguard your account.

2.5 Modifications to Terms

Meekoo reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page indicates when revisions were made. Continued use of meekoo.in or shop.meekoo.in after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Refund & Return Policy

What happens if your product arrives damaged, defective, or not as ordered.

Meekoo stands behind every product we ship. If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or significantly different from what you ordered, we will replace it or refund you in full — no questions asked.

3.1 Eligibility for Return (B2B & Distributor Orders)

For B2B, distributor, and export orders, return eligibility is governed by the executed contract. In the absence of specific contractual terms, a return or refund may be requested within 7 days of delivery in any of the following cases:

  • The product arrived damaged or tampered with — including broken seals, leaking packaging, or physical damage to the product.
  • The product is defective or expired — within its labelled shelf life but unfit for consumption.
  • The product delivered is different from what was ordered (wrong SKU, variant, weight, or quantity).
  • The product is missing items that were paid for in the order.

3.2 Non-Returnable Items

For food safety and hygiene reasons, the following are not eligible for return once opened or consumed:

  • Products that have been opened, partially used, or consumed (except in cases of defect).
  • Products without original packaging, batch number, or invoice.
  • Custom OEM, private label, or bulk B2B orders unless otherwise contractually agreed.
  • Items purchased through clearance or final-sale promotions.

3.4 How to Initiate a Return

Email info@meekoo.in within the applicable return window with: your order number, photographs of the product issue (including packaging), and a brief description. Our team will respond within 2 business days with next steps. Do not dispose of the product until the return is resolved.

3.5 Shop Returns (shop.meekoo.in)

For consumer purchases made through shop.meekoo.in, a stricter return window applies due to the perishable, food-grade nature of our products and hygiene considerations under FSSAI guidelines.

  • Return window: 48 hours from delivery. Return requests must be raised within 48 hours of the delivery timestamp recorded by our courier partner.
  • Eligible reasons only: product damaged in transit, tampered packaging, wrong item delivered, item missing from order, or product visibly defective or expired at the time of receipt.
  • Mandatory evidence: clear photographs of the outer packaging, sealed inner packaging, batch number, and the issue itself. Unboxing video is strongly recommended and may be required for high-value items.
  • Once opened, no returns: for food safety and hygiene reasons, opened, partially used, or consumed products cannot be returned — except where the defect is intrinsic to the product (e.g. infestation, foreign matter, or expiry).
  • No change-of-mind returns: shop.meekoo.in does not accept returns for "did not like the taste", "ordered by mistake", or similar reasons. Please order carefully and read product descriptions in full before purchase.

Why a stricter window for shop orders? Spices, herbs, dairy, and food products are sensitive to handling and storage conditions after delivery. A 48-hour window ensures we can verify the issue against our dispatch records and packaging quality before products are exposed to varied home storage conditions. This is consistent with FSSAI hygiene guidelines for packaged food.

To raise a shop return: email info@meekoo.in with subject line "Shop Order Return — [Order Number]". Refunds for approved shop returns follow the timelines in Section 3.3. Razorpay refunds are processed directly to the original payment instrument.

Shipping Policy

How and when your order reaches you — across India and 30+ international markets.

Meekoo ships to all serviceable PIN codes across India and to 30+ international markets through verified courier and freight partners. Shipping times, costs, and policies vary by destination, order type, and product category.

4.1 Domestic Shipping (Bulk / Distributor / B2B Orders)

Standard delivery within India for bulk and distributor orders is via our partner courier and freight networks — DTDC, Delhivery, BlueDart, and India Post for remote PIN codes, with palletised freight for full-truckload orders. Expected delivery times:

4.2 International Shipping & Export

For international consignments, Meekoo ships under standard INCOTERMS (FOB, CIF, DDP, EXW — as mutually agreed). Export shipments are accompanied by full APEDA, DGFT, and destination-country regulatory documentation.

  • Air freight — typical transit 4–10 business days from Pune origin to destination country.
  • Sea freight (containerised) — typical transit 15–45 days depending on destination port.
  • Customs clearance — handled by buyer's nominated forwarder unless agreed otherwise.
  • Insurance — available on request, billed at actuals.

4.3 Tracking & Delivery Confirmation

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number by email and SMS. Domestic orders can be tracked through the courier partner's portal or directly in your shop.meekoo.in account dashboard. International shipments have AWB (Air Waybill) or BL (Bill of Lading) references shared via email.

4.4 Failed Delivery & Re-attempts

Courier partners typically attempt delivery up to 3 times. If all attempts fail and the shipment is returned to origin, we will contact you for re-dispatch. Re-dispatch costs may apply if the failure was due to incorrect address or non-availability.

4.5 Shop Shipping (shop.meekoo.in)

Retail consumer orders placed through shop.meekoo.in follow a simplified, transparent shipping structure designed for fast and reliable delivery anywhere in India.

  • Shipping fee: ₹50 flat rate on every order, irrespective of order value, weight, or destination PIN code within India.
  • No free shipping threshold. The ₹50 flat fee applies to all orders — there are no exemptions based on cart value. This keeps our pricing fully transparent: the price on the product page is the price you pay, plus ₹50 shipping and applicable taxes.
  • Dispatch timeline: orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 2:00 PM IST or on Sundays/public holidays are dispatched on the next business day.
  • Delivery timelines:
    • Pune, Mumbai & Maharashtra metros — 2–4 business days from dispatch
    • Other metro cities — 3–5 business days from dispatch
    • Tier 2 / Tier 3 / non-metro PIN codes — 5–8 business days from dispatch
    • Remote & Northeast PIN codes — 7–12 business days from dispatch
  • Order tracking: a tracking link is sent by email and SMS as soon as your order is handed over to the courier partner.
  • International orders: shop.meekoo.in is currently configured for domestic (India) delivery only. For international consumer orders, please email export@meekoo.in for a quotation.
  • Non-serviceable PIN codes: if your PIN code is not serviceable by any of our courier partners, you will be notified at checkout or within 24 hours of order placement, with a full refund issued.

Note on perishables: dairy and other cold-chain shop products may have additional restrictions on serviceable PIN codes and may carry a supplemental cold-chain handling fee. These are clearly indicated on the product page before checkout.

In compliance with the Information Technology Act 2000, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, and applicable IT Rules, Meekoo Industries Limited has appointed a Grievance Officer to handle complaints and concerns from users of meekoo.in, shop.meekoo.in, and customers of our products.

8.1 How to File a Grievance

8.2 Response Timeline

8.3 Escalation

Cancellation Policy

How to cancel an order — before it ships, with a full refund, no questions asked.

We understand that plans change. Meekoo offers a flexible, customer-friendly cancellation policy: you can cancel any order at any time before it is dispatched from our warehouse, and receive a full refund — no questions asked, no cancellation fees.

9.1 Cancellation Window

  • Before dispatch — full cancellation allowed. Once you place an order on shop.meekoo.in or via meekoo.in, you can cancel it any time before it is handed over to our courier partner. A full refund of the order value (including any shipping charges paid) is issued.
  • After dispatch — cancellation not possible. Once your order has been dispatched and handed to the courier, it cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the order at this stage, please refuse delivery when the courier arrives — the package will be returned to us, and a refund (less actual two-way shipping costs) will be processed.
  • After delivery — see Returns Policy (Section 03). Post-delivery situations are handled under our Return & Refund Policy.

9.2 How to Cancel

To cancel an order before dispatch, you have three options:

  • Shop account dashboard — log in to your shop.meekoo.in account, go to "My Orders", and click the "Cancel Order" button next to the relevant order. Available for orders not yet marked as "Dispatched".
  • Email — send a cancellation request to info@meekoo.in with subject line "Cancel Order — [Order Number]". We respond within 2 business hours during office hours (10:00 AM – 6:30 PM IST, Monday–Saturday).
  • Phone / WhatsApp — call or message +91 9075577366 with your order number during office hours.

Important — timing matters: orders placed before 2:00 PM IST on a business day are typically dispatched the same day. To guarantee cancellation, please raise the request as early as possible. Once the order status changes to "Dispatched" in your account or in the email update we send you, cancellation is no longer possible — the order will need to be handled under our Return Policy (Section 03) instead.

9.3 Cancellation Refund Timeline

Once your cancellation request is processed and confirmed, the refund is initiated immediately to your original payment method. Standard refund timelines apply:

9.4 Cancellation by Meekoo

In rare circumstances, Meekoo may need to cancel an order. This happens only in specific situations:

  • The product is out of stock or no longer available, and we were unable to flag this at checkout in time.
  • The product was listed at an incorrect price due to a system or human error (see Section 2.3).
  • The delivery PIN code is not serviceable by any of our courier partners.
  • Suspected fraudulent activity, payment failure that cannot be resolved, or violation of our Terms of Use.
  • Force majeure events — natural disasters, regulatory restrictions, or other situations beyond reasonable control.

If Meekoo cancels your order, you will receive an email notification with the reason, and a full refund (including any shipping charges paid) will be initiated within 24 hours of cancellation.

9.5 Partial Cancellation

If your order contains multiple items and you wish to cancel only some of them, this is possible before dispatch. Email info@meekoo.in with the order number and the specific SKUs you wish to cancel. A partial refund will be issued for the cancelled items only. Once an order is dispatched, partial cancellation is no longer possible.
