About Caraway
Caraway seeds have been found in 5,000-year-old Egyptian tombs. In India they are called Shahi Jeera — royal cumin — for their role in Mughal cuisine. Their intense earthy aroma, richer and more complex than regular cumin, defines authentic dum biryani, korma and Mughlai preparations.
