About Cardamom (Large)
Large Black Cardamom is smoke-dried over fire, giving it dark, wrinkled pods and deeply smoky, camphor-like flavour. Botanically distinct from green cardamom. India is the world's largest producer, primarily from Sikkim's high-altitude forests. The backbone of North Indian garam masala.
