About Mint
India is the world's largest producer of mint and the dominant global supplier of natural menthol. Uttar Pradesh produces over 80% of the world's mint oil. Multiple species are grown: Mentha arvensis (highest menthol), piperita (peppermint), and spicata (spearmint). Mint oil is India's highest-value essential oil export.
