About Vetiver
Vetiver (Chrysopogon zizanioides) has one of the most complex aromatic profiles of any plant — the essential oil contains over 150 identified components, providing its characteristic deep, smoky, woody-earthy character. Used for millennia in India as a cooling agent (khus screens/mats), perfumery ingredient and Ayurvedic nervine. Vetiver oil from Rajasthan and North India is considered premium quality.
